Who We Are?
EmpowerED Advocates is committed to early diagnosis, personalized interventions, and long-term success for children ages 2-12. We help families navigate the special education system by ensuring students receive the right support, accommodations, and resources.
Good Schools Don’t Always Mean Good IEPs
Even in high-performing districts, families often encounter IEPs that:
- Sound appropriate but lack measurable goals
- Include services that are inconsistently delivered
- Rely on vague progress updates instead of real data
- Fail to adjust when progress stalls
We help families identify gaps, ask the right questions, and ensure systems function as intended.
How We Support Families
EmpowerED Advocates provides professional, culturally responsive educational advocacy and support services for families of children with disabilities. We specialize in both early childhood and school-aged advocacy across the Washington, DC metro area.
Our Families Are Looking for More Than Advice
We work best with families who:
- Want measurable progress, not vague assurances
- Value professional preparation and expertise
- Are ready to invest in structured advocacy
- Expect accountability from educational systems
- Our services are private-pay and designed for families seeking high-touch, outcome-focused supported
